Before I moved to Syracuse and started internship, I talked with friends and family about starting a blog (uh, this one) and what I should call it.  Some suggested song lyrics or song titles, but I couldn’t narrow that category down.  What to choose!?  My friend, Justin, (pictured left) suggested a title off the top of his head “Espiritu de Syracuse.”  It was pretty good.  If I remember correctly, we even laughed at how easily he thought of it.  It was in the running because it’s a lively title.  Essentially, it suggests the action of the Spirit (Holy) alive and well in Syracuse.  It is because of the Holy Spirit that I’m even in any of this.  And the Holy Spirit is indeed alive and well here in Syracuse, doing its mysterious work with or without me.  I love that about the Holy Spirit.

Gee Justin, I have no idea why I didn’t choose this title.  Well, here is a post, dedicated to you and the Holy Spirit.
